Amy Wong

Amy (voiced by Lauren Tom) is a young, fun loving woman, whose rich Chinese parents push to marry and give them grandchildren. She's open and friendly, never shy about showing she's looking for friends and love--providing a contrast with some of the other characters who tend to keep to themselves at times.

Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth

Professor Farnsworth
Professor Farnsworth is the owner of the Planet Express delivery service, employing the other main characters. Like most other Futurama characters, he is amoral and self-serving, which along with his misguided optimism, makes him strangely likable. The character is voiced by Billy West, the voice behind Fry, Dr. Zoidberg, and more minor characters. Being a loveable mad scientist makes him unpredictable, which adds to the show's unpredictability. You never know what will happen, and you never know if the trouble the Futurama characters will get into will be solved by Professor Farnsworth or hindered by it. The safe bet is usually on the latter...

Dr. John A. Zoidberg

Dr. John A. Zoidberg, who like Fry, Farnsworth, and other characters, is voiced by Billy West, is quite a unique member of the crew. Unlike ther other main characters, who have characteristics we can all find in ourselves (even if that means subconsciously...), Dr. Zoidberg is unlike us. He is like our Jewish grandfathers, though. He's an ignorant know-it-all. He's a loveable yet repulsive creature. He's the reason we don't go to Florida to visit...

Turanga Leela

Turanga Leela is voiced by the great Katey Sagal, who had been known previously mainly as the nagging, materialistic, horny, and lovable mother from the sitcom Married... With Children. Unlike Sagal's previous hit character, Peggy Bundy, Leela is smart, brave, and selfless. And unlike Bundy, Leela has only one eye.
Throughout much of the show, Leela believes herself to have been abandoned by her parents. Growing up alone has made her stronger and more independent. Unfortunately, a lack of parental guidance may have contributed to her falling for the wrong guys (namely, Fry...)

Bender

Bender
A cynical, sarcastic, alcoholic, and sometimes-loveable robot, Bender Bending Rodríguez is many fans' favorite crew member. Serving as the id to the others' more reserved ego, Bender often says what we all think but won't admit to thinking...
